Default Labor Day Weekend Autocross Sanford NC

OK, Gang,

The flyer for the NCCC Labor Day Weekend autocross event is now posted at www.crnccc.com.

If you are unable to download it let me know and I will send you a copy.

This will be a 3-day, 21-event weekend.

A great time will be had by all.

Lets see if RCG can get a team together this time, maybe some of the drivers can get multi-day passes.

Team RCG will be polling the gang to see who's coming. Our next meeting is the 14th of August. Hopefully, we'll have some better competition for RPM. BTW, has RPM come up with any changes to the competition?

Working on a couple of ideas. Seems like no matter how we spin or twist it, RCG is s**t out of luck.

Just kidding! We'll come up with something exciting.

I'll be in Sanford on labor day but I won't make the meeting on the 14th,I'd rather be autocrossing in Greensboro that weekend. If RCG can't put a team together to take the trophy back maybe I can hook up with another group to do it

Hurry up Jeff, we need the new rules so we can go out and get some new hot rods. Without NitroC5, BlownNC, and both D1 and D2, I feel like we're coming to a gun fight with a knife.

We might have to join forces with Cap city to get enough cars to do it.

Wish I could be there, but it doesn't look like it.

AZ is not a dry heat. I have been here for a week and it has rained 5 out of 7 days here. And yesterday trees, signs and fences were torn down from the wind and rain. All the streets around here flood with a little rain too.
Now I find out AZ has a monsoon season. I guess I picked some good timing as the temps are around 107 and the humidity is at 70-100%.
I wish I was in NC.

I'll be trying to get the rest of the car ready and even if I have to pour 50w into the engine, I wanna be there!

I'm gonna get there one way or another.. Sucks that CCR has their 24 hour deal the same time.... Damn...I knew I should have bought that 700 dollar helicopter so I could make both races>>

We wish you were back in NC also, however, each day gets you a day closer to being back here.

Hope your drive out there was without any problems.

Remember, get in touch with DCA gang in Phoenix, maybe you can go to Millard, just a weekend with your Corvette family will be good for you. Millard is a blast, plus, you can go tubing with the Admiral

Anybody thinking about attending the Labor Day event at Sanford NC should get their registration in ASAP.

The hosting clubs are going to try and keep the final number of entrants to between 50 and 55, they are well on the way to making this number and will then close the registration.

Don't get left our of this great event.

You probably won't be turned away, but you should join NCCC. That way you can at least compete in a class other than X, and you will earn points for yourself and club (if you join one). Hell, just join RPM and your points will go to a good cause.
Or join NCCC and if you don't want to join a club, you can do that too. You will just be an NCCC member at large. I was one of them for a few years until we formed RPM.

It's worth it Andy - there are several other benefits to being an NCCC member

At the Labor Day event, talk to Gail and Pete Dawley, as they will get you signed up. It may cast 30 bucks or so, but you'll be good for the year.
Have you seen the Carolina Region NCCC site? If not, go type Carolina Region NCCC in google and you'll find them.
Have fun,
Ed
