Nice job Pedro, Mike, Bob and all others involved.
Only complaint was the HEAT! I'm looking forward to doing one of these in Dec/Jan when you can walk around looking at everyone's "babies" without MELTING...
I put a request in for a cooler day at the next event. I am waiting for a reply from the "big guy". We will do our best on this complaint, lol. I can't thank everyone enough for the kind words and the turn out. The 4 stooges may have worked on this, but we all made it what it was. Good times and good memories!!!
One minor complaint--I appreciate all that donated to the cake. We raised $91.00 to cover the cost. I know how much everyone loves the cakes I have had made for these events. Any suggestions on generating a little more income in the donations bucket for future cakes, or should I just scrap the cake? The next event will require a cake 2 times this size for everyone. I personally love designing the cakes and want to see it stay. Please reply all!!
Only $91.00
Heck, I put in and didn't even get to taste the thing!! I think that a bigger box that says donations for cake would have gotten more for you. I donated some because I didn't want you to take a hit on buying the cake for everyone. (Wanted to help out some way) I think most people didn't know about the donation box. Make sure to post Donations in the thread as well. Or, sell it per piece.
Thanks for the input. Sorry you didn't get a piece of the cake. Usually, I end up delivering and setting up wedding cakes on weekend to cover the cake cost. I have even delivered some in the vette, lol. This may be the closest I come to a wedding, lol. I didn't want to make too big of a box for the donations because I didn't want to push it on anyone, but I think your right. The next event is being planned as we speak and I am looking at enough cake for about 300 people. Who wants a piece?

I didn't see a box for cake donations :o I would have given even though I didn't get to taste it either
You definatly need a bigger donation box and you need to ask people to donate. I had no idea... I would have given.
Also, who paid for he name tags? They need some donation $ too.
I bet if you asked everyone in participation for a lousy $2-$3 donation you could have covered all costs and lets face it...$3 isn't gona brake anyone here on this forum
Mike,
I will make a box for donations for the next cruise! I will also post about the box for everyone to know that will be there. I got your back!
