Orlando Vette Meet Date Set!!!
For those of you who are new to this subject, we will be having a Vette show & shine, drag race and general get together at Speed World in Orlando, Florida. The date set is Friday October the 7th. There will be a large area for parking/showing your Vette. For those that wish to run on the strip, you can do that too. I want to make it clear that this event is mostly about Vette folks getting together. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RACE! We will be working on getting some sponsors to provide trophies for both the racers and the show cars. The track charges $10 for spectators and $5 more if you plan on racing. There are no additional fees associated with this event. All Vettes are welcome. All spectators are welcome. Make sure you let all of your Vette friends know! Can someone tell me exactly where the location is relative to Octobervettes in Kissimmiee? I have no idea where the Speed World in Orlando is???
Maybe I'll do the two events cause the cruise for all years of vettes in Old Town is Sat. at 3pm, I think? And then, only the older cars(not just corvettes) cruise thru in the evening. Thanks

Speedworld is on SR 50 about 20 miles east of Orlando. It is not easy to get from The old town area to speedworld, especially on Friday night. No easy route. If you are at old town take I-4 to the 408 toll road east toward Titusville all the way to the end and take SR 50. (aka East colonial.) Take SR 50 east about 8 miles. Speedworld is on the right.

Yes I will be up there Friday by noon for the weekend. This sounds much better than the pizza/pool party. OSW is on 50.
