If I do get rotors I think I should just go for all 4.
Is changing the rotors a lot more work? I've done it on other cars and unless alot of rust is involved it's not that bad. But I don't know how it is on vettes.
Rob helped me install my new rotors and pads in about 1.5 hours.

Actually after talking with NAPA I might go with doing all four rotors and pads. I can get the Raybestos drilled\slotted rotors. They won't look half as good as yours but that's okay. I just can't tell the wife how much I'm putting on the credit card!!

I have a few mods I'd like to complete, but I have not finished ordering them yet (i.e. tunnel plate, lowering on stock bolts, O2 sensor change, clean lettering on front calipers).

I'm going to stock pile ALL my mods for a year (like Scott) did and install them all at one time.

Make sure to buy some HIGH TEMP PAINT... or BBQ grill Black paint (home depot/lowes). YOu can find the HIGH TEMP Paint at autozone in several colors. I would get black.. Need to paint the rotors so they don't rust. NOt the part where the pad makes contact but the area around where the wheel bolts to, etc...

come by later on in the afternoon. I'm going to seal part of the driveway in the morning. Part where my dad keeps the trailers.\

Cool, I'll do that. I'll be picking up the rotors and pads tomorrow (ordered today). I'll try to get them painted Friday night so they have time to dry.

if you paint part of the rotor where the pad makes contact don't worry... The paint won't be there long. Make a few feet before the pad takes it off..

When is a good time to stop by? I hope it doesn't rain on you when you're trying to seal your driveway.

So what did you guys do this weekend?
I had fire duty all weekend.

I use some 1500 degree flat black I got from Autozone on my Buell muffler. It sticks well and no peeling.
How hot do you guys think the caliper and rotors get?
