as many of you know the hurricane hit pretty hard. i'm glad to say i rode it out just fine and the car is ok too. i lost power from monday morning till late thursday and the internet was out till monday.
saturday i went to new orleans to help out with my dad and was amazed at what the wind did to the bilboards, their i beam supports were bent all the way over til the sign hit the ground. i also would like to say that alot of the stuff on the news is inacurate. after being in the emergency operations center for even five minutes you can tell what is wrong with the news and the whole operation.

you are ok - I really feel for those that have lost all their stuff. I really those that stayed to protect their stuff, and lost their lives for it. Stuff doesn't seem so important anymore to many.... I know what you mean about the news media - anything for a story or to fuel the political fires.
