Anyone heard how John is doing? Has he started working again?

From what I heard he has stopped working indefinitely, but let's have some others weigh in here to confirm that.

Honestly I would start looking else where for dyno tuning, he will likely not be around much longer. He does have some other guy he has working for him but tuning is not something you learn from a book. Unless the other guy is really good I'd seek out some one else. I have also heard the other guy is not very friendly.

Anyone been to Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg for tuning? Thoughts on their work and price? I'm sure they charge a mint for their work but is it worth the cost?

Actually, Tony's is pretty reasonable. You gotta go to at least check out the "lab". You pull your car in, it's raised up onto the dyno platform. There is a glass booth that contains all of the monitors and chip burning equipment. They utilize the Moates/Tunercat type data aquisition. The fan in fron to your car is massive and pumps in a lot of air. Definitely first class. They put a ton of money into it. Alas, they do not use DFI. John was the only one around these parts of any repute that I know of that was certified with the system. If any of you know anyone else, I'm all
