A night of racing at Allsports Grand Prix (Indoor Go-Karts) and then dinner / food, whatever, at the Buffalo wing factory

Maybe in late Dec., before Santa comes???

Any takers???????????

p.s. How about Team racing - Mini-Grand Prix w/ pit stops??

Teams TBD on site - and teammates are drawn out of a hat (helmet)

Here's the web site:
http://www.allsportsgp.com/

My 19 yr old son and I hit that place a few months ago. We ran the Arrive and Drive for like $20 bucks. Mon and Tues the race is 12 min long instead of 8 min. The arrive and drive is good enough.
Dates I can NOT do it on are:
Nov 29
Dec 5, 11, 17-18 after 12 noon on 18th is fine, 23-26th

You will fit, but you will be slow! I have done Allsports before. The karts are understandably weak in the horsepower dept. The larger you are, the slower you go. You basically stay on the gas the entire lap and scrub off speed by turning......DONT TOUCH THE BRAKES!

Now I may be a little biased since I run my kart at Summit Point in excess of 115 mph! But Allsports is certainly an enjoyable, safe evening. And you can do teams with driver changes which is fun!

Steve - Thanks - We can go during the week - With daylight saving time, it feels often later than it really is

I thought the "pit / team" idea would make things a bit more interesting but whatever the majority is cool with, we can do

Blowtorch, I know, I know - not exactly 115 mph, but they did at least tighten the track to make it a bit more competitive - they also offer faster cats for those who qualify

Too bad I can't go, whoever my teammate would have been would have enjoyed the weight advantage I would have brought to the table

Maybe another time....

Is this idea still alive? Or is it dying for lack of interest?

Don't tell us you're going to be a Dirty Bird (Falcons) fan! However, congratulations on the new job James and hope that it results in a significant raise so that you can get out of the yellow Rustang!

I'm pretty busy this month as well... If there's a plan for dinner somewhere, I may be able to show up. Aside from that, I can't commit to anything because of random prior engagements, relatives coming through town, and I'm taking a trip to Florida so I have to get a lot done (for work) before I leave.

Hope to see everyone at some point soon though!

If anything happens in Dec, let me know. The last week in Dec is the only bad one. But I'm sure that's the same story for most.
