Window Tinting in Charlotte?
Hi, my family lives in Charlotte though I go to school in NY. I'll be home with the C6 over Christmas, so I'd like to get a tinting in.
I have used Lightning Mike's on Independence BLVD (by the Ford dealer) before, but I'm not sure if they'd be able to do the Corvette rear hatch with its complex curve and the dots, etc.
Does anyone have experience with them on a C6/other 'vette, or a recommendation for another place?
Also, I know the legal limit is 35% all around, but I think I'll do 20% all around since I register the car in NC, but the military takes me everywhere but NC... so I think I can get away with it.

If you want your windows tinted, call Bruce at Speed Styles (704) 882-0333
As a bodyshop, I have been using Bruce's shop for 9 years. I won't have anyone else do it. The 3rd "U-turn" that you would make coming down Independence to get to Lightening Mikes is the same one you would make to go to Speed Styles. (SS is approx an 1/8 of a mile closer to Monroe from LM's on the same side)

Lightning Mike is my choice for all 5 cars including a C5, a convertable mustang and a Is300 that is "tighter" than the vette. All one piece done in the % you want --I always go to the one on Monroe road though--that's where "Mike" usually spends the most time

I don't know about the Monroe road office but Mike no longer owns the one on Independence.
He sold it but I'm not sure if he sold all or just one.
