Default Fun Roads in Alabama

Hey everyone, i just got to alabama and i was wondering if there are any fun winding roads around for some "spirited" driving. Specifically near montgomery would be cool but really anywhere in alabama. Thanks

I live up in the extreme NW corner of Alabama. On Waterloo Road (CR 14) This is the road that the annual "Trail of Tears" Bike ride goes down. Only about 12 miles from my house to Waterloo, but lots of great curves. But it is a good way from Montgomery. I've heard there is another great road through the woods somewhere near Moulton, also.
I like traveling the Natchez Trace, but it only cuts thru' the NW corner of the state, and the fun part is only the last 10 miles before Nashville.
Keep searching, there bound to be plenty of back woods curvy roads around.

It's not in Alabama but northeast Georgia is fantastic. I was over there this past Thanksgiving w/ another couple in their Z06 and had a blast. The road mentioned above near Moulton has to be Hwy. 33 through the forest. It is good but be careful of log trucks. Good luck.

Very nice road in Scottsboro, AL where the Crow Mountain Hillclimb was held last year www.crowmountainhillclimb.org You can view some video clips from the race, and see the road. Very nice switchbacks, hairpins. Surface is a little rough, but, OK with a street car. I was in a GT1 car, not so good.
