Default {VA} Feb 10th Dyno tuning for LS1,2,6,7/LT1/LT4 & GM trucks with Jeff Creech @ C.A.M.

*****CANCELLED*****

We need at least 3 cars to get a full tune for him to come up.

The details:

Per Jeff Creech,

Yes, I can do a trip for 3 cars, I may require a deposit from each of us
As he has been burned on doing these trips and only having 1 car show up. I may be able to vouch for ya folks I know

How I do this normally is y'all pay for dyno time ($75 @ hour)

Shouldn't be more than 2 hours for any mod level (less for fewer mods) and my fees are $300 for mild mods, and $400 for blowers, turbos, big strokers, etc.
This fee includes free tuning updates you need in the future that doesn't need the dyno. Free updates * include changes such as gear swaps, pings on winter gas on cold days only, bigger TB and it won't idle well, fan temps, shift points, knocking under given circumstances, etc.
Does not include additional dyno time if required, or program replacement in the event of a dealer flash update.
Free updates are good, as long you own the car, and are not transferable. If it does need the dyno its straight dyno time at the CAM shop, and dyno time plus $50/hr for me to travel to your Dyno.

Here is Jeff’s Website http://www.carolinaautomasters.com/

The Dyno can be paid on VISA/MASTERCARD

Jeff’s tuning cost can be paid by check or cash.

We will be at the same place as last year.

May have something new to tune by then!

Jeff, can you do anything with the LS-2 in the new Trailblazer SS?

From what I've heard on the local NC forum HorsePowerJunkies I wouldn't let him tune a go cart... Just what I've heard... Now here on the CF I've heard nothing but good.. Take it for what it's worth.. Dave..

Dave,
Well there ya go...........believing what you read.
I read LOTS-O-STUFF( And have seen that issue) and take it into consideration with large grains of salt...........but I have had him tune 2 of our vettes w/o issue and a tweak at the dragstrip so I have had no issues with Jeff, 1st hand knowledge is always best
I did my homework and interviewed/ picked his brain/ asked him multiple choice questions way before he tuned anything........
Per Forum Rules, if you have worth to add to a thread ok, in this case it's only what you have read so please keep that in mind for any more posts

Jeff, We may have Harvey's 02 Camaro ready for a tune by then. We've just gotten the Ypipe and 02s in. I need to get some time to install the headers/ Ypipe/ Cats and then we'll be ready. Give me the date so we can say yes or no for sure!

Mike

So done Mike.
If he gets 3 tunes here, then he can finish my 97' before I go to SC at the end of Feb

Steve, worst case we can finish up on your way down there, I'm also the newest sponsor of the National Corvette Challenge

Hopefully I'll have 2006 C6 software by then, and the TrailblazerSS software should also be close behind it too (I've already got the 2006 GTO software) so maybe and maybe not for Feb 10 (assuming we get critical mass up there) but soon....

Rock and roll everyone, I'm going back out to the garage to admire my first vette!!!

Hey Jeff, I was out in my car today and could hardly keep it down. Thanks for the good work.

Here's what your tune did for me in widescreen Widescreen test tape

Any one who doubts the range of Jeff's knowledge can take it from the results on my car, he can tune! Like 'ol Lefty can coach.
