Great, we are looking forward to meeting you. Don't forget to go to

We all will be glad to have you. Lots of great people to meet. We all give great thanks to Jack who works his butt off (really when you see him, it's gone) to setup this and other events.
Since Jack our Events Co-ordinator is once again doing almost all the work for the March 25th Waterside RATPACK Corvette Show and since this is our 5th Waterside event..
I personally want to do my part by offering the following to all "registrants" for the Waterside show.
I am offering overnight rooms at the Holiday Inn Olde Towne Portsmouth directly across the river from Waterside for $60. per night for either Friday or Saturday night. [5 min drive from Waterside]
I will provide private FREE Corvette Parking in our exclusive parking garage, with a Portsmouth Police Officer to guard your Corvettes from 6 pm to 6 am both Friday and Sat.night
I will also provide a FREE hospitality suite over looking the Elizabeth River so everyone can meet, rest, talk, socialize, have a drink or just relax..
Your total cost ?? the $60.00 room rate..that's all...
I will need a min. of 10 rooms for Friday the 24th.
and 20 rooms Sat.the 25th to cover cost of my security and balance my budget...
We have a lounge, restaurant etc. on premises, and there are many other restaurants etc. within walking distance from the Hotel etc.
If there is enough interest I will post the Hotel group reservation code on the forum..
If you want you can email me directly with any questions or post them,,
Since I am now RETIRED twice and still Director of Security for the Holiday Inn for the last 33 years and still drive an old 87 C-4, without car payments, I thought I might offer this to help make our 5th Waterside Show the best one yet..
and Jack wouldn't have to work so hard taking care of everything...
I have already set this up, so it's up to you...
Just let me know if there is interest or not...
Stay safe
Rick Williams
Jacks response:
"What do you mean no butt..............it sticks out at least this far."
And, just be glad it doesn't look like this:
The first one is Jack explaining about the size of the Manatee which lives in the pond behind the Condo.
The next set is of the judges leaving after catching a view of "Jack Da Legs" in shorts.
Okay Vetterens, after careful consideration the committee has selected Rick Williams' plan for a Waterside Eve get-together at the Portsmouth Holiday Inn as the "official' Friday night social event of the weekend.
As he posted earlier, not only has Rick set aside rooms at reasonable rates but will also provide garage parking with a security guard for the night, hospitality rooms for those who wish to swap stories, an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner ($8.95), a car wash area for pre-Waterside freshening, and ... you're welcome even if you can't stay the night!
So, if you're gonna be in town Friday, and looking for someplace to go, you owe it to yourselves to stop by, meet some Forum Members and gear up for the Big Event Saturday. An evening cruise is a possibility.
