The next scheduled NoVA Corvette Dyno day that I know of is 18 March at Tony's Corvettes in Gaithersburg, MD. I believe that there are a few spots left. Suggest you contact AlohaC5 (higginsm@mitre.org) about snagging one of them.

this dyno day is for NVCC members and those who have applied for NVCC membership. Contact Judy Patrick at thepatricks@starpower.net to apply or see club website in sig.
If there are enough NON-NVCC members that want to dyno a car we can put something together. I'm not interested in dyning my car but I'll attend the event.
Springfield motorsports is close by and there is another place that was mentioned in the last CF dyno day post... I'll do a search...
Well, the other place that was under consideration is Curry's Automotive in Sterling. That was the place that was working with C6FirstVette (aka Mr.Blu) who posted about his dyno runs with the local Porsche club - he totally blew them away. He frequents this forum and should have the details readily at hand.
Note, however, that this is a Mustang dyno not a DynoJet. Personally, I don't care as I have baseline data on both types and want to see what I am getting now.

Are you a NVCC member, and if are you going to Tony's?
I'm kinda wondering how many people are going to this event that might have attended our Vette Car Care day in Fredericksburg. If enough people chime in here, I may reschedule this for the following weekend or move it up a weekend...
Comments???
There's also a Dyno In Manassas, I believe it's call Excessive Motorsports, if memory serves... Never been there, but I know of a couple of people who have...

I wouldn't move the date. 99% of the NVCCers do NOT visit this board. They have their own forum. http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com
There is also a NVCC shop night tonight at Koons Chevy in Tysons for NVCC members.

If I ever get around to writing the check I will be a member as I have met, several times over, the membership requirements. I am currently scheduled to attend the Dyno Day in Gaithersburg but according to what has been posted it appears that we only have half of the required entries. Of course, I guess we could double the costs. . .
I've been to a bunch of NVCC events but am not a member. I'd like to go to Tony's to at least watch. Keith runs a nice operation up there. Hope the NVCC can get enough people together to pull this off

Hello everone! Here is the link to the NVCC Dyno Day we have setup at Tonys Corvettes on 18 March for our membership. However, we need to fill 4 more slots NLT 1 March. Should we lack participants by that date, we will open it up to the forum. Thanks, Mike

Ben,
You have been to several events, which is great but have you filled out and mailed the application yet? The app has to be in to Judy and she will send you the form to fill in the 2 events (GBM and non-meeting event). The proverbial clock starts ticking when she mails you that form...you have 4 months from receipt of that form to attend the events and send back. Once we receive the completed form back, you are voted in and welcomed as an official member (pending payment of the annual dues). Just wanted to clarify in case you didn't know...Judy unfortunately has to follow the papertrail this way (bylaws stuff). I wasn't sure where you were at in the process.
If you get the paperwork in right away and get the event form back, then the NVCC Dyno Day and the next GBM you attend can be filled in and count toward the membership requirements.

I wouldn't say 99% don't visit. There are quite a few of us that are members of both the NVCC and CorvetteForum.com.
I actually was considering doing Mikelly's vette care day since I have 2 dynos on the '94 already and haven't done any more mods to it to justify another pull, and the '89 is shaky at best right now, given its current issues. I still have not decided what I'm doing yet for sure.
But Mikelly has been planning his event for a while, he should not move it. Probably just won't get the dynoing NVCCers out, that's all. No big deal.

I am pretty sure that the Northern Virginia Mustang Club uses them for their dyno days (I think Excessive is one of their club sponsors if I am not mistaken). I heard it's a good shop but don't have any personal experience.
I am sorry to hear that Woodbridge Dynotech is now closed. John Sealock did a great job on all the pulls...
I'm up for it. I would consider dynoing my truck but otherwise no go on the vette. Should I start a new thread? "CF" DYNO DAY???
Since this is CorvetteForum SE region I don't see why you would start a new renamed thread.
A question was asked about the next NoVa dyno day. GentleBen responded with a post about the NVCC dyno day. Being dues-paying members, the NVCC peeps have the first crack at it. We ALWAYS open events up to everyone else IF we cannot get enough club members to attend. This has always been the policy of the club...so please don't kill the messenger.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
