Default Thank You

Thanks,

It is on the calendar. We use to take the V8 Fiero to Olde Town on the 1973 to 1987 cruise nights. Pretty cool place. It was fun to get ice cream and watch people from all over the world walking up and down th street looking at the cars. Then around 9:00 we would crank up the cars and cruise around the streets like a parade.

Too bad the 69 is still in a billion pieces. I am so wound up about these electric headlight actuators that I can't see straight. I think we will take the 90 and enjoy the scenery. The valve cover race sounds very interesting. I just might have to put something together.

Thanks again. You guys are great!

that's the link...there'll be plenty of forum folk attending this event...we could make up a VERY SIGNIFICANT portion of the attendees. They expect 400 cars and I would love to see 100 of us out there....very easy to do :D

Can't wait to meet more local forum members!!!

And don't forget about the Ecklers Reunion on October 20th....this will be heavily attended also...and I know a big turnout of Z06's plan on showing.

Then there's the Vette-Viper shootout on October 14th....man, what fun!!!

Mark

Electric headlight actuators on a 69???????? They're
supposed to be vacuum operated. What part of OP are you
located at? I'm near the OPHS. :seeya

Yep, I think I have seen your car around. It has a personal tag that indicates Z 06.

We live in Herritage Hills. My wife teaches at OPHS and drives the polo green 90 with the personal tag Nikiann.

Yes, electric motors on a 69. I have been working on this for some time now. Finally have a working prototype.

Chris

Maybe we can follow each other down to October Vette???

I had lunch at Sonny's on Friday and saw her Vette when I turned on to Kingsley.

Rick and I have identical red Z06's. You already know his plate, mine is 1BAMF

Rick,

We do plan on going to both if things work out. This is one of those deals that we will play by ear up until the last second. If I have parts and plans to get my car together, time would be better spent staying home and working. That would get me two weekends closer to taking the 69 to the following years events.

On the other hand, if I am waiting on some parts, paint to dry, etc. etc. there is no sense just sitting around the house all weekend, and we are gone to the shows.

So, I will know the week of both if we are going. We would love to ride together with some other local Vetters. Let's keep in touch on this one and see what works out.

Personal tags are cool. We still have not come up with one for the 69. Although, we have a list a mile long. We have fun coming up with different ideas from time to time.

If you noticed, her tag frame says "This is not my Husband's car". That drives me crazy when I get stuck with the car for the day. I guess everyone in traffic wants to know what my husband looks like :U .

Chris

We're planning a caravan from Jax to Ecklers on the
morning of Oct 20. I'll post details here as we get
closer to showtime.

Mean Green

I'm looking foreward to meeting you.

I'm going to the October Vettes. My boyfriend is flying in for this. Let's get together as many as we can for a caravan. Thoughts?
