Default C4/C5 bash in Bowing Green experience?

I'm wondering about the C4/C5 bash at Bowling Green. Has anyone gone before and what are the comments? I think it is in three weeks?

Are there any C2's that show up? Just curious.

Thanks

the C5/C6 bash is in a few weeks - the C4 event is a month later...

I think there was one or two early Vettes at the C5/C6 bash last year - they otherwise went unnoticed

C1 thru C3 cars are rare to begin with. The C5/C6 registry is the hosting group for the Bash weekend. Most of the registry participants drive the latest and greatest of Corvettes. Very few early generation cars show up for the Bash.

If you want the chance to see the latest GM and Chevrolet have to offer for Corvette, show up. My experience tells me that the Chief engineer, now Mr. Tom Wallace, and his staff will be there to present upcoming features. They will also be there to listen to suggestions. The Registry group buys lots of New Corvettes each year. GM and Chevy make sure to listen to this group of buyers.

All that being said. In my opinion. Any Corvette is welcome and appreciated. Drive your favorite Corvette. Enjoy the company. Show off your pride and joy. Hope to see you there.

I went to the C4/ZR-1 gathering last year and it was a BLAST! I was in a C5 but my friends were all in C4's last year. I saw plenty of classics between the car show in the parking lot, the few stragglers just visiting and the dealership across the street from the museum. I don't know what you are into but there was plenty to do. Even though it was not a weekend for "my" car, I still drove the whiskey tour and had a great time. Good food all around, well thought out events. Terrible weather one evening (dinged some otherwise mint cars) but other than that a 10 out of 10 for my money. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. That inlcudes the 11 hours one way.
