That's so sad. I will remember him for as long as I live, really a good guy.

My condolences to his wife and family.

Bummer - I was just thinking of him as I drove by his old place (the abandoned gas station on US 1) - Afterwards Bluewasp, I think I asked you about his condition - SUX!

Thank you for letting us know. I passed it onto the NVCC, as I know many members have worked with him in the past. A real Corvette guy

A very kind, soft-spoken gentleman who will be greatly missed...

I will really miss John. I got to know John in November and December of 2004 when John made major modifications to my 64. John spent a large part of that winter on my car and he got very sick shortly after he finished my car. John was such a great guy during the month or two that I sent a huge amount of parts to his shop before he began work on my car. I am extra proud to be able to drive a car that may have been his last large enhancement/modification project.

I only met him once. I would have loved to have gotten to know him better and picked his brain for his knowledge!

R.I.P.

Very sad. He had a magic touch on my vette. I would just go up there sometimes on saturdays and watch and sometimes learn. He will be missed
