I have NEVER put any of our C5s on a trailer............yet.
One day one will break so I am just getting ready.
Time for a new trailer or.............a trailer mod, a little 4' dove tail would work perfect.
I have used the board and ramp tricks in the past with other cars/trucks and they work great...........but, a permanent fix is in the works. I built this trailer in 1985 to haul up to a 7,000 lb. tractor thus the HHHHHHHHeavy **** ramps, 85 lbs ea as a matter of fact
Never figured on owning a newer Vette way back then
Steve I've seen how your Vettes raise their noses at the strip just run it up to about 4 grand, dump the clutch and hit the brakes before you kiss the tow vehicle

Tell Julie we said good luck tomorrow!
You know that Steve only drives cars with sissy sticks. He doesn't have a clutch!!!!

Even backing up on to that severe of an angle will make the front end drag.
Also watch your mid-frame / under carriage as the front wheels go from the ramp to the trailer. As the front end is going forward sometimes there is not enough clearance for the frame / under carriage of the car and that may hit and drag.
That's why a beaver tail trailer is really the best solution for lower cars.
I cant tell from the pictures if you have room, but you could drive that trailer into the drainage ditch I see in the foreground. If that drops the wheels of the trailer low enough, that would change the approach angle of the ramps. But, not sure how you get the car off when you get where you are going...
Steve,
