It's probably not "legal"
But, as long as we don't have actual smog tests and if you go to an inspection station where the mechanic has no idea of what the underhood configuration should look like...they will probably check your brakes, rock your front end, look at your tires, take your money and give you a sticker!
Disclaimer: If you are an undercover state inspection officer I didn't say this!
Sniffer tests will be coming to certain areas of Tidewater soon
But even then, a trip a few miles away should get you around this
Im definitly not a police officer, so your in the clear im only asking because i just spent $1000 on headers on my gt and failed inspection and had to spend an additional $300 on new cats so im just tired of having to swap stuff back and forth
I would recommend keeping the pump if you have to have emissions testing done in your area. Remember the pump if there to keep the cat working by keeping the exhaust hot going in
well i decided to keep the car all smog legal and get hooker 2149 headers ill be ordering them in a week or two, i was going to order them friday but i just had to dish out 600 for a new clutch in my mustang oh well...
