I really REALLY REALLY could use some help here...
I need to put my exhaust on tonight (B&B Bullets) because the wife won't let me keep the exhaust in the house. The reason being is on friday we are putting it on the market. Can any one help me out with a lift or something? I was just going to try to do it myself but when I looked at how I would bring the pipe over the axle it looks like the tail would have to be pretty high in the air. I was going to put it on a ramp but I think if I did that then the nose would hit the ground before it got high enough. So can anyone help a brotha out?
Thats what I ended up doing... Of course there is a story to go along with it. I had to go to get my mortgage for the new house I am buying in a few weeeks so I was pressed on time. I went to Meinke (sp?) in Fairfax right behind my old school FHS. I got there at 330 and they pulled my car right in. Granted I watched it like a hawk almost the whole time.
Well they put it in the air and they started asking me questions, uhhh josh you said we loosen the sway bar right...? So I said yeah just loosen it and you will be good to go. I go grab something come back in 2-3 minutes and they took it all the way off... So I was like loosen dude not remove but what ever. Then they worked on the clamps before I could say something they got the damn torch out and heated it up just to take it off. Well they get the whole exhaust lose and they can't wiggle it off so they come back around to me and "josh we can't get it off" so I said "like I told you from the start you gotta put it in S to get it off." Well an hour and a half later they have my exhaust on with crooked tip I was just like screw it I will fix it later. Granted I was probably a little too much of a know it all but if I had not been there they were gonna give up on the car when they could get the driver pipe out. Kinda sad I am IT security and they are an EXHAUST specialist and I had to help.
