Does anyone attend the weekly SAT night cruise in at the Hardee's on route 10 in Hopewell (or is it Chester?) My seven year old wants to take a ride in the Vette so I was going to ride up around 630pm. Just wondering if any other Vette owners will be there. It is sponsered by a local car club, but I can't remember the name.

Just returned. There was probably 30 to 40 nice cars on display plus a lot more just cruising through the parking lot. There was only a handful of vettes. I saw the cleanest 85 on display. It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. There was also a late 50's white vette and some C5s. Oddly there was no C3s. There was a strong showing of 67 to 69 Camaros and 60's to early 70's Mustangs. I really liked the two Cobras (kit cars) that were there. If anyone in the area is bored on SAT nights it is definitely worthwhile to attend.

Yes it is every SAT night thru Sept. By the way my seven year old thought that the General Lee (Dukes of Hazzard car) was the best one there.

I go almost every Sat night. It starts around 5:00 PM and goes til ? 9:00 PM. I go around 7:00. It is at the Hardees just east of I95 on Rt 10. There is another car show on Friday nights on Rt 301 about 1 mile north of Rt 10 in an antique store parking lot across the road from a Wawa.
Have not take my '73 Vette to show, have driven through the parking lot a couple times.

Don't believe so. It is been in the parking lot at the antique mall for the two previous years. Before that I believe it was at Southpark Mall in Colonial Heights. The one you are talking about is in Varina on the north side of the James River. I understand it is still being held.

There was a lot more Vets there tonight. A really nice 80 or so and some really cool 60s and 70s Vettes. I had to drive my mustang because I had both my daughters with me (I parked in the back HA HA). For RMS 73, what color is your Vet and were you there tonight (6/3)?

My 73 is dark blue with a black vinyl interior and I run YOM license plates. I was not at Hardees tonight didn't even get to drive by, I was playing softball with my church team.
