Forvettes

Do any of you go to the car shows at Old Town? I think Fridays are newer cars and Saturdays are the oldies. Is that right? I was there last Sat night and met Steve of C&S Corvettes, Sarasota. He had his C5 with the '62 body kit. It was really sharp. Sorry, my pictures didn't come out good enough to post.

Just wondering if anyone would be there Friday night (Aug 11)?

Visitors are always welcome, but the "cruise" itself is only open to certain model years. On Friday's it is 1973 to 1987 and on Saturday only up to 1972.

They have a website with lots of information. Love going to Old Town and love eating at Flippers Pizzeria.

I go to old town just about every friday. The newer cars must have 3 or 4 more mods. No show room stock but i have seen stock there.


If im there look for the som ws6 i should be the only one there. Look in the back by there office.

You would be abe to enter on fridays. Saturdays the older cars only.

The show octobervette's was disbanded for lack of participation. But there will be a vette show this year just like it but hosted by old town.

Now its called vette fest on october 6th and 7th. old towns number is 407-396-4888.

Not to hijack the thread but there is a huge all GM show at silver springs in ocala oct 14th. Go here it see there flyer. And its free for the first 1000 enterd.

I confirmed with Old Town that Friday nights the newer vette's are welcome as long as you have at least 4 modifications that can been seen by the average person.

I can not make it tonight, but I will be there next Friday the 18th!! Looks like it will be a great time. Plus Saturday the 19th is the meet and greet in Orlando.

I live at Northbridge Apt homes just south of the Millienna Mall off of I-4. This event is about 16 miles south of me on I-4.

I will be waiting for Nancy to drive in from Merritt Island. She is going with me on Friday & Saturday. Hopefully she will be in by 6:30-7pm.

Do you want to meet at my place or the Mellienna Mall area and go down together? We could even establish a time and place if we have more that are interested! My place is gated and limited parking, so if we have a larger group we could meet in the area of the mall. Plenty of stores and parking areas to meet at.

NEW NAME FOR THE SAME SHOW?

Oct. 6 - 7: Yes, there will be a Corvette show in October! Although the Octobervettes organization has disbanded, with the help of some of their members, the First Annual Old Town Vette Fest will take place during the first weekend of the month! Special show participant rates are offered at the Seralago Hotel (800-366-5437) as well as a welcome party on Friday night! Free show registration will open at 9am on Saturday with Valve Cover races taking place at noon (Rules and Guidelines available by request from awalsh@old-town.com). We will have a 50/50 raffle and event t-shirts on sale during the course of the weekend. Free dash plaques to the first 400 cars!
