I just saw this post.. myself and 3 coworkers are planning to head over in the morning from Tampa. We have no idea what we're doing, don't have passes, but really want to try and see a launch! Here's a few photos I took from the spot we were at Friday. One with the shuttle in focus, one with Chris/Ginny in focus... I took the liberty of combining the two to get everything in focus. Due to the distance between us and the shuttle, and even with a high apature setting, the depth of field wasn't enough. Chris/Ginny were about 20 yards in front of me for this one.
