I've been telling you that for a while now. Eventually you'll cave in.
..it is all in what you want
I have seen his shark run before - and I think it will go again however, that car and the GS cold be sold (I think he just sold his other C4) and buy a new Z06 (or slightly used) for ~ 65-70k
Don't play into the dealer games of $30K OVER msrp -
the air was great and there were some amazing runs!!

Good food, good company, and a beautiful day for top off motoring.
Rob: calling the toll-free number today to see if I qualify for a Hoverround power chair, at no cost to me!

Hope you all had fun...
Aaron Quine (rasrboy) had a little scuff with a tire wall but nothing major. Just a slightly damaged fender flare and gill panel, everything else will buff right out. He is a driving genius, that racecar has 9 lives.
I had a chance at the end of the event to take a passenger run with him, I can't remember a time when we had traction
It was a blast to ride in that car. I gave a fun run to a buddy of mine and scared the cr@p out of him on turn 7. Originally, the weather report said that the weekend would be clear with only a slight chance of rain on Sunday. We had rain the first day (Saturday) that made Jefferson Circuit into a skating rink for those of us with slicks. It made driving interesting with my very well worn/practically treadless Victoracers.
But I kept the shiny side up, no off track excursions, and my times were decent in the wet in my immediate group. Must be all that CNY snow driving experience growing up
Overall did OK, was able to beat a few people's times in my rickety ole C4 (including a C5 Z06), but there's only so much 300HP at the crank and limited track time this year can do
I could probably have squeezed more out of LilRed, but I didn't want to risk my DD to the point of taking her home in pieces on a tow truck. Can't wait till I can sort out the '89 some day...it will be driven hard
A great time despite the weather. Actually, feeling a little down today that I'm not at the track.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I should sell everything and buy a New Z06hmmm.................
When I can afford to I'll put a kit on the '89. She needs to run first though...and I need to plant a money tree in my yard to pay for all of this great stuff
Seriously, I am looking forward to having those brakes on my car someday...they will be great on the track.

Maybe for my '91. Its a lot of power to be stopped by standard brakes. Maybe if they fit with the stock wheels and maybe if I work some more weekends
