NoVA Tuner...

The guy you want is Keith Green of Tony's Corvette Shop. Just be prepared to take your time 'cause he does it right - several dyno pulls to see the stock configuration, a lengthy discussion with you to determine what you want, what is feasible, and your method of driving. THEN he gets to programming your car. You will be happy with the results.

...do you want cheap, or good??
And what exactly does "cheap" get you?? quality, reliability, etc.??
We all want a deal - but c'mon. You bought a Vette, sounds like you are making mods. You have to pay to play
I have always heard good things about Tonys, but when I ask a price for mine it was going to run about $1,000.00 and up. That was too rich for my blood. Good luck.

Bluewasp, if I recall, your local tune, got you an addl. ~30hp over the mail tune and better drivability as well
Right???
Also, the price of $275. (www.pcmforless.com) was a dyno tune on mine and not the mail order tune price. But I did only gain about 6hp. But, IMO that is not a discredit to his dyno tune, but a credit to his mail order tune.
I have no driveability issues, I have emissions test done at a garage that is doing me no favors, (not a friend) and the track times are in my signature which can be verified by All throttle and no bottle.
I dont mean to be bragging, but I will bet that I have one of the quickest stock, orig. shortblock, hotcammed cars on this forum.
In short, the best value for my money I have spent on this car has been Alvins tune.

Right???PCMforless mail order tune was 362rwhp. Dyno tune was 407rwhp. You can never get the tune 100% right by mail. Just ain't going to happen. If you have to go mail order FASTCHIP has won the mail order tuner challege. I had a fastchip tune on my first GS engine and was happy with it.
I'm sure PCMforless would have gotten 407rwhp out of the car if he/they had it on a dyno...
yes there was better drivability...

Tuners are like mechanics, there is good and there is bad, and even the good miss it occasionally.
Also, keep in mind that when tuning on a dynojet, it is only good for WOT. Part throttle and idle are going to have to be done based on data logs such as datamaster, and experience etc. If you find someone with a mustang dyno they can do part throttle tuning on the dyno. Good luck with your decision.
