Default Fuzzy Fund.....plea

I am working with Dan and the bank to get a few of the bills paid. I would like to make this last pitch to all of the Forum brethren, to help by sending whatever you can...............$5, $10....two have sent $250!! The problem lies in that only 10 of you have contributed! Dan needs alot more......................it would be nice if he could keep his C4 and not have the judge order it sold!
Once again, Thanks..........

why not re-post the procedure so folks will know how to make a donation to Dan's fund if they so desire

Glad to hear he's doing better - if everyone tried to contribute the cost of just ONE Starbucks coffee to the fund - I'm sure it would really help

Just go to any Bank of America and tell the teller you wish to make a contribution to the Daniel J. Warren Fund. It's that simple!

Dan is a great guy, the kind you would treat to dinner or lunch. Instead, just contribute the cost of a meal, an oil change, or set of plugs. You wouldn't miss it and it would do so much to help out. Dan is still among us with the skill of his surgeon and doctors, but they and the hospital are expensive. The cost of daily medication is a serious financial burden, please help out by making a contribution today!

Only 10 people, that's pretty friggin sad.

All the people here and in Florida that know Dan and only 10 step up to help one of the nicest guys around? Come on people, I've seen more people step up and help out someone here for a lot less, I even seem to remember tons of people helping another Vette owner get his car back on the road after a blown motor or something. Dan almost blew his heart for good and this is the best we can do? As bad off as Dan is right now he'd still give you the shirt off his back from what I know of him.

Hi Mark,

Just a little info for folks going to make contributions....based on my experience today. The banks website was down and they couldn't locate Fuzzy's fund info on-line....so make sure you have his name, (his real name! hahahaa), the state (FL) and if anyone has the account number, that would be handy. They took all of the info I had (which was just his name and state) and I did get a receipt so I hope that our contribution makes it to the fund!!!

Julie & Steve
P.S. Since I don't drink coffee (referencing the Starbuck's comment) I contributed my monthly shoe allowance & some of Steve's tire money!!! I'm sure some of you can do the same!!

Keep er coming, people! We are starting to get a few folks helping.
The official fund name is: Daniel J Warren Medical Fund. Based in Florida. If a teller gives you any s..t, ask to speak to a supervisor. If that fails, have them call Woody Dupuis, Asst. Vice President, Bank of America at 863-676-4906. He will get them on the right track.
Thanks again,

I can understand your apprehention. This is a FLORIDA trust.....Key word, Florida...............one of the toughest states to set up a fund because of all our retired folks. The state desided to protect them from scams and made it very diffacult to set one up. Rest assured, every penny is accounted for and must be approved by a legal board of review. That said, Thanks to those of you stepping up to help Dan!
BTW, I made a deposit today and found what some of you were going through. The key phrase to use is "Contribution account". Daniel J Warren Medical Fund.
Keep the funds coming..............we have a long way to go!!

I will take care of this Monday. It has been on my list of things to do, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Sorry. Don't stop reminding people. I am sure that many are like me. I travel every week and forget to do some things when I get home. I have met Dan and I assure you that anyone who knows him will help.

I posted in another section yesterday about me going to the bank here in Va. Beach yesterday. The key is to have them search for the "Daniel J. Warren Medical Fund" all as one name. ( NOT the "Daniel J. Warren" medical fund). Bert.
