Sorry Peter...i JUST walked in the door after another 6 day road trip. Left Stamford Conn-freakin-etticut last night and drove through...all i wanna do right now is curl up in a ball and sleep til tuesday.

Yall wanna do it next week? I'm SUPPOSED to be head'n back from my NEXT trip (leavin' tomorrow) on thursday...so i should be in better shape then. Just lemme know.

Next weekend sounds fine to me. Was just looking for a chance to get out and eat some good wings, lol.

4-1-1 Is there a meet-n-eat on Sat 11/18?

I think I'm still a member in a Charlotte area club somewhere

. It's been a long time, but I faintly remember wings and a cold one

. Finally got the vette together and started it last weekend, so I'm good to go on a short run.

Thanks. Took the heads off, de-carbonized the piston tops (found out it was bored .040 over), cleaned the valves (they looked like ice cream cones), checked guides, new valve seals, new push rods, some new rocker arms, Edelbrock Performer manifold, half inch carb spacer and new 80gph fuel pump. Found where the head gaskets were leaking and hopefully found my overheating problem. Just need to tune everything back. It's been a very busy summer.
