It's not 100% yet, but I don't have to wear the brace any more. We're in "wait and see" stage. I've been driving the hell out of that thing.

I am interested, but the 15th it is the wife's birthday so I'll have to tread lightly. How many usually show up?

On average we have 10 to 12 people show up. Take her to Dixie for her birthday!

I have never been before, but a quick hit to google shows:
http://www.dixiebones.com
13440 Occoquan Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22191
http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr...&cd=1&resnum=1
Someone please chime in and let me know if I'm right.

Disagree with that last part, if you want the best badass BBQ in the world, you HAVE to go here:
http://www.dinosaurbarbque.com/
Very well known place. You have to go there sometime and experience it for yourself.

Since I haven’t been to Dixie Bones (yet) I can’t comment on if it is the best; but if you guys are ever in my area check out Mr. B’s barbeque on Rt. 340 about three miles south of the Rt. 50 & Rt. 340 intersection near Berryville.
Doc’s is a converted garage and doesn't look like much from the outside, it is there is no dining room, just a couple of benches outside, but the food is awesome. Just the way Southern barbeque aught to be!
Unfortunately Doc’s is closed Nov – March, check it out next spring!

Thats the place, and I agree - THE BEST, period.
RKreigh, take 95 south to exit 160, heading over to US Rt1. Make a right at the light, heading down a block or two...
Dixie Bones is on the right in the shopping plaza (behind the CVS on the corner)
...watch that initial speedbump!

Dinosaur BBQ is known throughout...those who are true BBQ experts, know that it's the best!
I am planning a Corvette event to CNY in the summer...might include a trip to Dinosaur as part of it.
