As much as we critisize bad service experiences, I thought I would share a good one I had today. My "service active handling" light had been coming on after start-up, so I took it to Fischer Chevrolet in Titusville. The tech drove it around the parking lot, read the codes and fixed the problem right away. It seems there is a service bulletin for the steering wheel position sensor which GM says is the result of a bad connection of a plug under the steering wheel. This tech at Fischer is one of only 12 in the state which is a GM "Master service tech" ( I think that what the service writer called it) and over sees all Corvette service there. Also, there was a Z/06 in the showroom, which had just been sold for $10k over MSRP. Kevin

I did a search on that last week and found a post with the actual service bulletin attached. Very good information, No. 06-02-35-002A. @WWW.ALLDATA.COM/TSB/GENERAL-MOTORS/...for 2005-2006 Corvette with tilt telescoping steering wheel. Basically once gaining access to steering column, adding electrical tape and a tye rap to the Steering Wheel Position Sensor connector. Thanks to the previous replies for the help!!!!

Hey Kevin,
I agree, I took my 04 in to have the mirror checked and even though they could not fix it, I was impressed with "Doc" they shop forman. VERY good guy!!
