I just walked in the door from a nice drive back from getting my car tuned by Jeff Creech. I stayed at a friends over night. It runs A LOT better now!

Put Eradispeed +2's on this morning and went for a nice long ride.

Now I feel bad because it's too cold to wash it.

My Z06 just rested in the garage today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the mess they are calling for tomorrow stays away.

Bright and sunny this morning so I decided to take the Vette to drop my dry cleaning off; then get a call that someone needed access to the office, so off I go on a 60 mile drive to the office on I95 instead of the county roads I was planning on cruising ...

I still got around 150 miles of seat time, just not where I wanted to get it.

Matt, I just missed you on Friday. I left CAM around noon. I was down there getting new output shafts and a new Textrallia clutch.

Also, had to talk to Jeff about the new motor,

Haha, Yeah, Jeff told me. I had a friend there with me and we had a BLAST looking at all of the projects in Jeff's shop. I wish I wouldve seen your beast. My car (runnin pretty crappy still because of some effin idiot the worked on my car before messin it up so bad) only put out 290 to the wheels. But, Jeff said that when he fixes whats wrong with it, he is sure it will be pushin at least 320 to the pavement. I am hoping to go for around 400 N/A and without doing the 383.

Went with my son this morning to the Ford Dealer to order his Mustang GT!
After we got home my son CUT THE GRASS! The 73 stayed in the garage.

Well I took my '89 black 6spd coupe out for a spin, only to hear an odd noise under my hood, then smelled burning coolant, and then the cabin of the car filled up with white smoke. After I rolled the windows down , I limped the car home freezing my azz off.

Dropped the car off home, decided to deal with it later, as I was running behind. Took out my red '94 (avatar) out to an appointment and spent the rest of the day running errands with it. LilRed = Old Faithful On the way, I traced the same route and saw small puddles/tire marks of coolant each placed I stopped. No wonder why I had little traction.

Oh well, a bittersweet Corvette day...1 out of 2 ain't bad I guess...

Snow tubing at Bryce Mountain! They actually have snow.....man made of course!

My vette is snoozing in the garage

Right now I am glued to the tube watching Barrett-Jackson. Jesus Christ some of those people are rich. Some guy just bought Carroll Shelby's PERSONAL Cobra Super Snake (twin turbos) for 5 MILLION DOLLARS

It's not a twin turbo, it's twin supercharged. 800 HP, 427 Cobra Competition Twin Supercharger, the car was 1 of 2; the other is history, so now it's the only one of its kind out there. Pics here: http://www.northernvirginiamustangcl...&p=69369#69369

Yeah, love the "label-maker" homemade labels under each of the gauges. Classy! Although for 800 HP I'd definitely overlook that...part of the "charm" aspect, anyway...

I don't know...I heard about it and wanted to see if I could head down, but it all depends on weather and schedule for me. And also when I can get a new tranny into my '94. My '89 I won't even attempt to bring down.

Altough it would be nice, you dont have to be in a Vette to come join in the fun. I doubt I will have my car for this event.
