Default [NoVA] Windshield Replacement Vendors?

My wifes Murano has a massive crack through the windshield and I need to get it replaced. Unfortunately, Nissan says it is not covered and I do not have any coverage other than the normal through State Farm.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks
Shane

If you have comprehensive coverage, the replacement of a windshield is normally covered...deductible is usually either $50 or $100 and shouldn't count against you premium wise.

I use Safelite for my w/s replacement as they are the "preferred" company for Nationwide, so I recommend you call SF and file the claim and ask them if they have a preferred company in your area.

HTH...

I keep my deductibles high ($500, etc) to keep my premiums low so while it is covered, it would have to go way above 500 for it to be worth it to submit to insurance.

I used KC's Auto Glass off/on Sterling Blvd - though they came to the house. They were polite, efficient, and the glass has not leaked or otherwise caused issues in 4 years

Mine was through insurance - it was probably a $400 piece of glass, if I were to guess...

Default Auto Glass Discounts

Check the ads in the center of your local yellow pages for discount coupons. Many vendors will honor their competitor’s coupons and I have found 50% discounts on insurance deductibles. Good Luck!

Chris and Shane,

I used KC Auto Glass too from Sterling, but I think they must have gone strictly mobile now becasue I went by there the other day and the looked like they were closed.
