Atlanta area Z06 performance testing
We are trying to locate any Z06 owners (both 2001 and 2002 models) that live in or around the Atlanta area.
Currently, Auto Performance Test Lab is testing these models for updated info on related oil consumption and performance acceleration issues. to be considered for the test program, your car must have at least 1000 miles on it. The testing is free. All cars must be STOCK. Sorry no changes of any kind are accepted for this test format. Due to a limited weather window we ask that anyone interested contact us before 10/27/2001. We will only be able to test 10 vehicles. If you are interested in seeing how yours compares,call us as soon as possible at 404-579-8833. :cool:

You can email the details as well at mark.a.smith@delta.com. I have 6500 miles with no oil consumption problems.

On behalf of David F, Mike (Winner), and myself, we want to thank everyone who took part in the recent Z06 performance test program.
The response from this FORUM as well as other Corvettes clubs and groups was just overwheeling and was really appreciated.
All the data collected is being forwarded to GM tech dept. We ask all those who were a part of this program to hold their personal data and not share it until we receive a response from GM Tech.
Never is no doubt that the numbers derived from our testing shows that was almost no difference between the 2001 & 2002 Z06. Which ever you own and drive, be proud, they are well worth what you paid for them.

We will pass on the results as soon as we hear back from GM with their comments regarding all our questions. Should be sometime around the end of the month or so.
