Vettes in Myrtle Beach

BUT
First of the week, we drove up Ocean Blvd. Just to see what was there, upper end of the beach seems to be doing a lot of construction. Going through a construction zone, I usually try to avoid construction zones, but this time we had no choice, going through really slow, 10mph I guess, and I actually felt a small bump, nothing much, but at such a slow speed I felt it. Then I could hear a noise coming from the rear. I had not seen anything, so I thought the worse. I pulled into a parking lot immediately. Got out and started checking each tire, left front, nothing, right front, nothing, right rear nothing, left rear....

My first thought was sh$t! But as I grabbed it, it fell out, it had only went in about 1/8in into the rubber part of the tread. Talk about lucky. I guess the bend prevented it from going any deeper. I avoided all construction zones after that.
Here's the storm that rolled in while we were in Charleston SC
