Need Expert Painter in Upstate SC!!!
To all those in the know, I need an expert painter here in Upstate SC. My 2007 Corvette has a run in the clear coat about 3 in. long in the middle of the hood. The GM service rep. inspected the car yesterday and I was told that if I can find a painter, GM will pay them to fix my hood. To make matters worse, I skimmed a curb while backing in my car this past weekend and I scratched the crap out of my passenger side rocker panel. Any suggestions on a good, meticulous, paint shop would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have had some cars/body panels painted by Larry Franks and they have always done a fantastic job.They are a little pricey, but do great work. I also notice that your in simpsonville. I have heard some great things about Elite Customs across from Cryovac. They do alot of high end cars. Sorry to hear about the mishap and hope you get them straightened out.

Thanks for the info on Elite Customs. I took my black C5 to Larry franks to get a clear coat chip fixed on my hood. They were expensive ($700), and I got the feeling that they were in a hurry to get my car out of their shop. They got overspray all over my chrome rims, and I had to take the car back to get that fixed. The results were acceptable, but I'd like to find someone else if I could.
