Yep, we had a awesome time. 529 miles of fun, minus 1 detour to Williamsburg. Still have a smile on my face, I will load up pics tomorrow. Can't wait till the spring cruise, this is the reason I bought the Vette. For great cruises like this.
Leo, I call ya tomorrow and hook up with you on the radio
The way Ed wound those corners on 211 was awesome.
Ed was eatin' those curves up! I had to move over and watch in amazement as he went flying by. His eyes were as big as silver dollars and his mouth was in a sneer with drool coming out the corner.
I would put my money on him over the idiots in the crotch rockets!
Jim, Linda, Anne & Mike - another great Skyline Drive Cruise, snow flakes and all! I'm just sorry that Leigh was not feeling well and we had to leave right after lunch; would have enjoyed getting out and meeting more of the forum folks. We're moving to Florida soon so this was probably our last Skyline cruise . . . unless we drive a loooooong way for the next one!
And that was even with the bum directions that Phil gave to you! :D :D :D
about those directions.."Jack, whatever you do...DONT take 'Business-211'!
Exactly WHERE did you go??? And how about.."phil, I'll pull over to right and let you LEAD"??? Im glad no one went hungry, or got lost on that deal...
about beating me up the hill!!!
Ya got me again. I figured out how you did that!! I wondered why all those "civilian" cars were weaving and seemed outa control as I tried to pass
Now I know, you werecrowding them/blocking/bump drafting and they were a little nervous by the time I got to them. Slowed me down just a tad :jester
