Don't read this event as something it isn't. This isn't going to hot laps this is going to be "pace" laps. This is about looking good not going fast. They might allow us to run down the back straight a little but I'm sure it will be slow pass in front of the stands.
I was thinking more about track/insurance regs...there are some job sites I go on that even though the construction is finished for the most part, the contractors still require us to wear hardhats for insurance reasons.

Haha... I NEVER wear my hardhat. For the most part, the only time I am required to wear it is the only time it wouldnt matter if I wore it. Like, say if there is a crane on site lifting iron beams for the buildings... I would rather not be wearing a hard hat if a 1.5 ton piece of iron came falling 200 feet out of the sky and hit me in the head. I will die either way, its just a matter of if I feel it before I die or if I just die automatically.

I'd like to do this. Have to check and see if I'm working at the HR Harley Davidson Cruise-in that night. Will let you know. Can you hold a spot for me?

Hey Dougie, since we are all going and you have been so gracious about being our point of contact (and cause I found it easier for one person to be contact in events past) What are they doing for tickets for us? Since we will more then likely have between 15 - 20 people (maybe more if we have 20 cars and some people have passengers) are they going to give us a group rate on tickets?
What about before/after, will there be a dedicated area for us to show off the Vettes?

I will be calling her sometime around the 20th and I will update ya'll then. She wanted to wait till it was a bit closer to the date so she can have more info. about the night. I am going to see if we can get a box for us.
Buzzardz_vette You are scheduled to work the week before this event. I however, are scheduled for this week....Looks like I need to find a substitute for the cruise-in.
