Mid Atlantic Vette Fest?????
Anybody from NOVA going down to central Va on the 28th & 29th for this event? I'm thinking about doing this instead of Carlisle.

Yahoo maps shows it being ~86 miles to the front entrance of VMP. I was thinking of 7:30 from Mickey D's in Massaponax might be a good starting time and point of departure.

Come on guys there has got to be more interested in going down than just three or four of us.
Where are all of the Northern Virginia Corvette Clubs?
We have a chance here to demonstrate how well an event like this could do in our area. Let's show some support so this event gains momentum and we can move this from a Regional Event to a National Event. How many chances do we get to put out cars on a National Drag Race caliber track? This is a first class facility that is used to handling big events. This could easily become a Carlisle like event only easier to get to and with a lot more rooms available within minutes of the event.

Get off at Exit 126 (now called Spotslyvania instead of Massaponax); turn right at the bottom of the ramp; turn left at second stop light.
I plan to be there at 6:30 to have b-fast; I will try to save some spaces. I think we can be at the front gate at 8:30ish if we leave right at 7:00.

Unfortunately, this weekend the NVCC has a lot going on event-wise, so many of us will be attending those events. Sorry! I'd be all over it if it was another weekend.
