Vette went CRUNCH
Hi all,
I just wanted to share the pics from my traffic accident... The ""other"" car had what the police estimated at $300 worth of damage... My C5 rang up a bill of $4,500.

As you can can see by the minimal damage to the other car, the collision happened at a low speed, but it just happened to hit the corner of 3 pannels (and the headlight) and shattered them all...
No injuries at all, and the other car drove away... But I've been without my vette two weeks now and God knows how much longer it will be...

It happened to me a couple of years ago in my '75. I was sitting in a median waiting to cross lanes when I got clipped from behind.
The other driver said he was just looking at the "purtty" vette!

If the insurance was gonna replace the hood, I was gonna put in the extra dough and get a maggie-friendly hood now... But that didn't happen, so it's just goin' back like it was.. (truth-be-told... It's already almost exactly like I want it...)
