Lots of us have been there. This Fall will be the first show in Sevierville. I have no idea what the new show will be like, but it's not worth traveling from FL for.

I would consider it an average-sized show that makes for a good day trip. I go to at least one (of the two) every year, but I'm only ~100 miles away. If you really want to come, plan a vacation in the Smokies around it.

You may want to check out their web site www.corvetteexpo.com or see the latest issue of the Corvette mags. for ads. There's more planned for this upcoming Expo including guided tours. If you come, make sure you bring a good camera. There's plenty of scenery, not to mention the Vette's, so there will be lots of photo's to be taken. The Blue Ridge Parkway is very close and the views are awesome!!

It used to be great years and years ago,but now its just O.K.
Expo is moving, and most of the event will be inside the huge building just constructed outside of Seveirville, It is 6 miles from I 40 and is well before the traffic woes (can you say nightmare?)of the strip between Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Seveirville. The facility is brand new and I talked to Byron the other day and he says that their vendor area is virtually sold out. (I'm guessing they would find space for one or two more if they had to. )
They are attempting to bring EXPO back to it's glory days. They have revived the "WANNAWINAVETTE"., the auction, and will again offer priority parking for VETTES.
It will not be an exclusive Corvette event, as they have now combined it with a new venue called "Horsepower and Hot Rods" which is going to feature Camaros this year.
The WANNAWINAVETTE car is a custom painted 1980 car, once owned by a ETCC member. I've seen it, but they don't have pictures on the website yet.

This will be my 3rd year going to Expo. At Knoxville, the attendance had a lot to do with the weather. The new location is all indoors (I think) and should have a great turn out.
It's my understanding the auction will be in an outside tent, however the rest of the event will be inside a permanent building, car show, vedors etc.....
