I sure hope we have some nice things to do within the Corvette community this fall because it doesn't look good for the Panthers. It might be a good year for buying PSLs.

Well there were a few bright spots during the Panthers/Patriots game, but only a few. Jake rolling out and completing a pass is the only one that comes to mind though. We ended up leaving before the 3rd quarter ended.
The defense looked horrible all game and those two blocked field goals were absolutely pathetic.
I hope they were just playing it safe or something, because if this is any indication of what the season will bring, we are in big trouble.
To quote Townie aka Rob Schneider from the movie Waterboy, "Oh no, we suck again".
Granted we were playing the Pats AND it was pre-season ball but DAMN, I thought I was watching a regular season game from last year.
Good to see Morgan back but for how long, the O line looked good with some of our starters back, Defense looks strong, Beason was a good compliment to Peppers, Rucker and crew but I can't help but miss Minter.
Thankfully due in large part to their poor showing last year, I won't be pained to watch this season's games on TV as they won't be airing in South Florida...no prime time match ups after a poor performance like last season's.
We had some great seats on the 45 yard line, 11th row but we left at halftime like everybody else did because they were playing so badly.......I wish they would beat the Steelers but I'm not sure that's going to happen. I was looking forward to having some Panthers parties but I may have to rethink that
Steeler site says all the starters will play about a quarter. By then, they should be up too much for the Panthers' starters to catch them
After watching the Panthers vs Pats, I think you are right. Let me see if I can sum up what I saw, they had trouble running the ball and the passing (except for one nice one) wasn't too good and they can't get a ball past the line of scrimage on a field goal. That about takes care of the offense. Don't get me started on the defense. Brady could have had a tea party in his back field and then throw the ball.

I am hoping for a sorry season so i can get tickets for the dallas game late in dec.

Looks like you'll get those tickets as the Panthers can't hold on to the ball. Can you believe 5 turn overs!!! At least the defense look like they wanted to play. The Steelers looked horrible, but the Panthers helped them out. I had to turn off the announcers as they actually thought the Panthers looked good!! At least Bell got a touchdown pass-----too bad it was to the Steelers.
