Florida and GMID
Anyone work with any dealer/dealers in Florida that will sell a Corvette on GMID?
When I bought my '06 I had to go up to Kerbeck (great experience!), but I sure would like to deal locally if I can. It has to be a large enough dealer to get decent allocation, as it will be an order most likely.

Simple procedure -
Click SEARCH
enter GMID and GMPP
then do first search w dot on show threads
then do second search with dot on show posts
TIP - Do not buy extended at same time as new car purchase. Do not buy extended @ dealer. Do not attempt to use Dennis Fichtner's figures to get same deal elswehere. If you purchase an extended, then cancel, you will be blacklisted by GM. If you buy new, wait to buy extended. There is no rush and it cuts down on your warranty time. Search this topic for all the good reasons. Dennis is authorized by GM anywhere for sales.
PS Rates are going up (beginning next month I think) so Dennis is v. busy. His is the best price going as a CF supporter. Highly recommended. Enough said!

My mistake. I too got boggled when I read the orig. Was half asleep on the orig. You're looking for the discount. Again, a Search for GMID will reveal prior posts.
GMPP policy, on the other hand, is good to know too. Sorry abt that. Return to normal channel.

i ordered my 07 GMID from "bruce glueck chevrolet" in jasper, fl. 386-792-1111. talk to bruce or becky (becky usually handles vettes). THEY ARE THE BEST TO DEAL WITH. I MEAN THE BEST. no, i'm not related or get a commission. no extra anything. just pay the GMID total plus tax. tell becky that jim from fort lauderdale says hello. (i had exotic transport pick mine up and bring it to my door in ft laud. instead of local drop delivery). good luck!!
