Has anyone noticed that there is no moonlight cruise on the agenda for this year's Eureka Springs event? Does anyone know why? We'ill miss the water box burnouts.
Apparently folks got a little too rowdy last year and the Eureka Springs Police issued several tickets and made a few arrests. From what I heard after last years show, Eureka Springs officials met with organizers of the show and decided that it would be in the organizers best interest not to have the midnight cruise this year. Too bad. I enjoyed that event

I have heard this also. Hopefully they will reconsider for next year it was a fun part of the weekend...
It got to dangerous with everyone standing so close to the road, and after what happened in Memphis it was to much of a risk for the show to be responsible for. If something bad happened it could end the show.
This is sad news. I was only planning on coming down for this event. I would not organize this but its not real hard this weekend for a cruise to just happen. The rodes and parking lots are packed with vettes and who doesnt want to just cruise the town on a sat night say at 10ish? I do believe in the saftey issues and everyone making it home safley.

Jeff
There were even two Corvettes who faced each other and did burnouts towards each other.
How friggen stupid.
As much as I enjoy someone else boiling off $300.00 sets of tires too much is at stake here. ESP will come down harder even this year.

Come on down, there are lots of us downtown at night anyway.
Leave the burnouts at home this year. WE ALL know they can boil the tires to the rims.
