Chesapeake, Va mechanic recommendations
I'm new to the forum and am looking for a mechanic that can check out my 85 (in the southside Hampton Roads area or Moyock). Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Ed Hutchings rebuilt my trans, fixed some oil leaks, and did some mods and tuning for me. I highly recommend him, in fact, I had my vette trailered 3.5 hours to him. 
He is also a Supporting Vendor.

Er, I live in NoVa as well, 3.5 hours away from him. I am just as far away from him as the rest of you.

Ahhhh...and 85 
I was in possession of one of those for 10 years. It's a nice car, but just remember, you don't own an early C4....it owns you.

The longest I've been able to drive it without issues is a few weeks. I bought the car at 85K miles. Two years later, it still has 85K miles.
Guess what? You get to tune the damn thing when it gets the new engine.
