Z06 Acceleration Performance Test Results are Completes!
Our results have been forward to GM technical for evaulation. We expect to receive answers/reply sometime this week.
If you are interested in receiving a copy of this communication/response and all test data, email us directly at: APTL@mediaone.net
Our follow up will go out late next week or early the following week. A more permanent record will be available through a national automotive magazine after the new year.

I emailed you directly but in case you do not get it, we are under a contract agreement not to release this information online in a website form which does include the FORUM. First published account will be the national automotive magazine previously mentioned. After this takes place, it can be a part of any thread on the FORUM.
You name is on the list. We also ask that you do re-print or post online this information until the article appears in said publication after the first of year.

Guys -
Stan does not test cars nor does he have a test lab. He has been caught several times presenting made up info as legit test data. Lingenfelter even went after him personally when he posted numbers on a bogus test a few years ago. Stan is also the individual that started the rumor of 300+ Z06 buy backs because of oil consumption. There is no such company as APTL. It has no business phone number, address or a web site. Take anything he says with a big grain of salt.
And think about this - What performance reviewer would submit their review to the manufacturer for evaluation before publishing the data? Give me a break.

Then I guess I imagined the computer he mounted to my windshield for the documented performance testing wasn't real either? (And no, it wasn't a G-Tech). I can't comment one way or the other on your other statements, but I know Stan personally, and I also know he tested my and several other Atlanta area Z06's. What becomes of the data? I dunno, but I do know we ran the tests in a fairly controlled environment.

Regardless of your experience with Stan, his company does not exist. There is no APTL incorporated in the state of GA.
In addition, Stan A has made many false statements on this forum and the Corvette newsgroup. He started the rumor that there were over 300 Z06 buy backs when the number is probably less than a dozen.
Its bad enough that he makes up info, the really damaging part is that he does so under the pretense that he is owns an auto testing company. It simply does not exist.

We got a final release from the publication. The results will go out this Sunday night to everyone that has requested a copy. Please be sure and email us back to confirm that you did receive it.
Again, thanks to everyone who take part in this Z06 test platform. We had so many people who did not make the deadline because of the weather that we plan another test secession this spring. This time will include modified Z06 too.
