-=-=-=-=-=NOVA November Event Poll - YOUR Input counts! =-=-=-=-=-=-=
With our monthly dinners running out of (somewhat) fresh ideas, I thought I would throw this thread out there and see what we can come up with...
We could do a Cruise/eat event. A "drive-in" movie, N. FFX or E. Loudon excursion, or possibly go karts and challenge one of the other forum areas/groups
I will post a poll and ask for your suggestions as well.
Once something is narrowed down, either a recap post or another thread will announce the event w/ details.
From: Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
All good ideas, *89x3+93x1*. I say we definitely do a drive-in movie on the flip side of winter. We've talked about it before and have never done it (to my knowledge). I like the cruise plus dinner thing, but with days getting shorter, that would have to be a weekend dealio. I'm definitely up for some bowling.
If you guys don't Mind traveling out to Richmond, the Ratpack guys usually try to go kart racing once a month. We have been using Richmond because it is a central location for MOST of us.
Don't forget the Pre X-mas cruise from Springfield to Hooters 2 or 3 years ago. Someone in a Ruby red Callaway drove the whole way with his top down.

Yes, but this was before "She Who Must Be Obeyed" put her foot down . . .
I *might* be able to get a pass
Seriously, post your ideas. At some point soon, we should decide what to do as a group. While the topic is Nov., I am not opposed to cruising in the Vette any time this winter. Or at least until the road salt goes down
OK... here is my drive-eats-drive idea... not new to some NVCC members...
Gather at some location in Northern Va near Beltway... the cruise would be 495 to 1-270 North approximately 30 miles to 1-70 West approximately 60 miles to 1-68 West, from the start of I-68 West 36 miles to Rocky Gap State Park, Exit 50, Make right off the exit, resort is visible from road.
Now prior to getting to destination (more on that shortly) we stop here for pics and chat>>
