Mrs. Hoog and I are heading out on her "every year in December" weekend away from the retail madness. Any of you SW Florida types care to recommend a restaurant for tonight or tomorrow? We're looking for a laid back, casual place...seafood or maybe a steak joint.
What are the wait times down there on the weekend's? Up here, if you don't get there before six, you're looking at an hour wait.

Thanks for the input folks, we decided to give the Prawnbroker a try tonight. It's just down the street from where we're staying. Food was excellent, ample portions, good service and reasonably priced. After dinner we toured the Edison and Ford winter homes, all done up for the holidays. Nice look into "old" Florida.

We used to go to the Prawnbroker quite often when visiting Ft, Myers and were always satisfied. Although we travel to Ft. Myers now more than ever, we haven't been to the prawnbroker in 5 years or more. Need to put that back on our list
