A big thanks to all Corvette owners from across North and South Carolina who chose to make cruises, events and runs with Metrolina Corvettes this year - our first year as a Corvette Club!
We're ending 2007 with more than 14 cruise and Corvette Playday events under our tires now - events that have taken us from winning trophies at car shows, runs to the mountains including The Dragon, turning up some twisted curves along Old Hwy 16, 18 and merciless Hwy 80, dodging trucks with canoes on Green River Cove Road, the NC/SC meet at Dreher Island with our own Carolina Vette Fest and capping the year with the dress rehearsal run and actual "makes-you-feel-good" Cat Square Christmas Parade.
If any of you reading this having been thinking about trying out Metrolina Corvettes in 2008, here is your chance. It's a laid-back, all friendship and all generations, no dues and always a cruise kinda club. We're out to enjoy our cars. Period. Check us out in 2008. We think you'll like what you see.
To our members: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It's been a blast this year so hang on to the grab bars, tighten up your belts and let some air out of the tires to keep a grip on the road ahead. We're opening up the throttle next year......
Very well put, Brian. We are especially thankful for all of the new faces that came to check us out, and continue coming back!! We promised a good time and I think we delivered.
Special thanks to our friends in Corvette clubs across both Carolinas who have banded together with us to pull off some wonderful events with huge turnouts! We look forward to seeing all of you again real soon.
We've got big plans and lots of fun activities scheduled for the upcoming year. Come out and enjoy your Corvette with us.
Great year! I've been in several Vette clubs but this one fits into what I think the Corvette lifestyle is all about. A big thanks to Brian and Ken for putting this whole thing together. They have some great plans and ideas for next year. You would think the tire companies would love to sponsor us as tires get a work out with this bunch of limit busters. Here is to next year May it be as much fun as this past year.
I am looking forward to meeting up with you all again soon... anyone know when the website will be updated with '08 events so I can get some on my calendar?
Good - another 2-Vette owner. Now you'll have choices!
Yes, the car is in transit to Charlotte as we speak. I will post up some more details when the deal is 100% complete. I decided to find something that could handle some longer trips and mountain roads! hehe

Keep it under lock and key and away from Ken - he's about to wet himself for an EB Z. Congrats and I can't wait to see it. I may have another Vette under my Christmas tree too.......

I guess I've been a bad boy. I won't be getting any new Vettes. It's hard to keep up with you guys.
I had the pleasure of driving a 2003 EB Z06 for a week. D2's. It was an eye opener and heart tester. I was hoping D2 would get lost or thrown in jail over in China. They are truly great fun machines. I'm envious.
