DHL loss shipment
Had a shipment of Ti exhaust system from Reno,NV taped together and completely bubble wrapped/taped again, and accepted by DHL in Reno, shipment made it to Baton Rouge, LA (within 100 miles of my house) and somehow the complete system got loss. I've sent other things with them, with no problem, but losing a complete system, come on. Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up on shipping with DHL.
Yup DHL sucktha... They had a package of mine for four days in Raleigh and it finally got delivered on Saturday. Customer service is a joke.. I will never use them again.. Dave
UPS is no better. Purchased an original 66 Big Block hood and had it wrapped and packed and taped real good and even had wood frame built around it. Somewhere between Minesota and Florida it was stabbed through the middle with a forklift and destroyed. They delivered it to my door without nothing but a thin piece of cardboard taped to the sides of it with the corners exposed. Needless to say, it arrived at my door with all four corners chipped off and hole thru the middle. Thank goodness for digital pics from seller of his ups approved packing of item. After destroying hood in mid shippment, they never even repacked it properly to further any more damage. Took 3 months to get my money back as all insured packages damaged in shipment must be dealt with from shipper/seller. One small problem is seller already has my money and really didn't want to deal with ups trying to resolve damage. UPS makes it so difficult to make a calim that they hope a lot of people will just give up. customer no-service
