Fellow Rat Packers,

Well the Vette got a real nice Christmas present, a B&B TriFlo Exhaust system Now my question to you is it better to have a Pro Shop weld in the system or use the clamps that come with the system for installation?

Any recommendations on a local Tidewater exhaust shop would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Lee

If they sent a good clamp system then I would clamp it. Welding makes a real strong system but it sucks if you have to brake it back down for repairs.

My Dynamax system is clamped. After a year and half I have had no problems.

I would clamp it together too. You'll be happier when you take it apart for the next mods like LT headers and whatever else. The exhaust is the first thing to come off when you start replacing or fixing things under the car.
