How about Saturday, February 9?

I know the Town Center Area has been suggested. I don't really get out much, so I'm not entirely familiar with a good place we can go to eat, hang out for a bit, and have a decent parking lot.....

let's hear a few suggestions......

There are any number of restaurants in Alpharetta that are adjacent to a mall or shopping center. Surely somebody on that side of town can make a suggestion?

I was thinking something close to 285 to keep it somewhat central. Jo and I should be able get out this weekend and scope out a few spots.

Dang! Our Corvette Club has an event the weekend of Feb. 9, so we won't be able to make it.

Here are a few suggestions of Atlanta-area restaurants . . . . .

Perimeter (I-285 & Ashford Dunwoody area): Cheeseburger in Paradise - Good food, lots of fun. If you go during the day, parking shouldn't be a problem. In the evening, there's a parking deck behind the restaurant (hard to show off the Vettes in a deck, tho!). Plenty of other restaurants around Perimeter Mall.

Vinings (I-285 & Paces Ferry): Padriac's - Pub-type atmosphere. Great food, casual dining. Parking can be tight at night on the weekends . . . .

Roswell: The Swallow At The Hollow - Good barbeque, pretty big place, lots of parking.

Mid-Town: Einstein's - a little upscale, really good food.

Lawrenceville (up Hwy 316): Red Robin - great burgers!

Alpharetta (up GA-400): Buca de Beppo - Family-style Italian. I've not been, but I've heard that it's really good. There are several other restaurants near North Point Mall.

Now, that's a start. I'm sure that others can come up with some good restaurants in the Atlanta area . . . . .

Hi from Alpharetta

Just bought a 08 coupe in November and would love to get together with all of you for a meet and greet or a cruise.

At Northpoint Mall there is a Bahama Breeze with lots of parking for the Vettes, but we'll go just about anywhere in the area.

Bahama Breeze would work for me.....and Alpharetta is a good choice since it's a bit more 'central'.

Hey, 93Polo,

We belong to the Classic Glass Corvette Club in Marietta. Just joined last fall - great bunch of folks and we've had a lot of fun. The club holds lots of events - there's something for everybody! We meet once a month at Sidelines Grill on Roswell Road. (Sidelines blocks off part of their parking lot just for the Vettes! ) If you (or anybody else!) would like to join us at our next meeting (February 12), send me a PM and I'll give you our phone number - maybe we can coordinate arrival times.

Here's a link to their website: http://www.cgcorvetteclub.com/index.htm

Let me know if you have any questions . . . . .

I was a Classic Glass member back in college but due to work and school I ran out of time. They had many great events but I just couldn't make it out often. We are planning on making a meeting soon

So is it a "for sure" thing on Feb 9 at Bahama Breeze? If so I'm in. I already told my wife to put it on her calendar. What time shall we meet?
