If you are looking for suggestions, I'd prefer a nice 10 year old California Cabernet Sauvignon.
BTW, everyone should be very careful when driving through Sandy Springs, Ga (where I live). As many of you know, we are now our own city having split off from the crooks and idiots that form the rest of Fulton County.
You should be careful because we have all of these new radar detectors that we need to pay for. We have significantly increased the police force and have them on 12 hour shifts. Don't be one of those contributors to our city fund raising. (I am not kidding, they are very strict around here now)
You'll just have to take me word. My torch red car is the fastest and has the fastest driver.

Speeding through Sandy Springs??? With all that traffic (especially on Roswell Road), how is that possible????
I'll check with SWMBO and see what she has planned. If nothing, we'll be there.
Bob and Lily Collins

Hey, Bob,
Just asked in another thread if you and Lily would be joining us this weekend, but here's my answer! The club will be meeting up at 11 a.m. (leaving at 11:30) at the Best Buy a block away from Bahama Breeze - stop by and say "hi!" if you get a chance!

Sandy Springs encompasses a large area (from Buckhead to Roswell). They always hide on I-285 (Northside Dr. exit to Dekalb County) and Hwy 400 (from the toll booth all the way to Roswell).
They will also find you on Roswell Rd (before and after rush hour). They take that 35 mph speed limit very seriously (and 45 mpg above Abernathy). They patrol the side roads all around town. There is a "no left turn" at a red right near my house. For years people ignored this sign. Now the police just sit there and pick off illegal left turns every day.
I just take it easy around town. The increased law enforcement presence has its benefits. The drug dealers and criminals have moved backed to Atlanta.

I wasn't planning on bringing it. But I'll be glad to bring it and my helmet if you'll let me take your car out for a 30 minute ride.
I will be there on Saturday. Hopefully will get a chance to meet a bunch of vette fanatics like myself. I see alot of them around town that is for sure.
Anyone on the west side of town interested in meeting off Busbee Parkway about 11 am to caravan over to Bahama Breeze this Saturday?
I might be convinced to do that...I live up Bells Ferry and so was trying to decide if I wanted to go across 92 or go down and around 285. A caravan would settle my route indecision.

I was thinking 285 with the Caravan as the drive time is a toss up and keeping everyone together without red lights is much easier.

I live in Canton, and I'm in for the event!
Caravan sounds cool also. Who's in the Caravan so far? If not enough people, I'll just drive over on Hwy 140 if that's ok.

I'm just across the river from you in East Cobb and am in Sandy Springs quite a bit. Roswell Road has gotten to be so congested that I avoid it as much as possible. Didn't realize that SS was so big, tho . . . .
Glad to hear that the criminals are leaving!! Just don't send them our way . . . .

I just moved to Sandy Springs in August from Ft Myers FL. I was really suprised how congested it really was. I am looking forward to getting a chance to meet all of you. Being new to the area it will be nice to meet some people with the same interests.
Cleared my mailbox. How may of us are going to meet @ Town Center?
I just posted the idea up yesterday for the caravan - I'm hoping a few more people chime in for it! I know there's a decent amount of us coming from this area.......
