The best part of the day was being at the tail end of the train leaving Town Center and catching the light-catching up was great fun!
We did meet some really nice people and learned quite a bit about the cars, the Corvette Museum, upcoming events, and other stuff-thanks to Fred and Glenda.
Jo & Lamar were exellent hosts and Jo is better looking in person-Lamar is questionable! Her parents were there too in the white '79, but we did not get a chance to talk to them.
Skeetin-can you give me a quick pm with your number-we need to get in touch with you guys.
It was good to see some old faces and meet some new folks. Thanks for putting this together, it was a great turnout, something to see as you travel down Hanyes Bridge Road toward Bahamas Breeze.
was a great ride over Your Z06 looks bad from the rear.. Love the color.

Thanks Steve, it was great to hear that ZR-1 power at work and see the back of that monster too. I was really tickled when I read your tag as you went by!!!
That is one extremely well preserved example, and I love that it actually gets driven too...
Lamar, I didn't see you chief? Where were you and where was your car?
Jim
Jim, I don't have a Vette currently. Jodi (yamahajo) had the Nassau blue C5. For some reason I had an urge to be be responsible so I bought a truck and a house. Hopefully, I'll have another toy before the year is out. I have been kicking around a few ideas.
While we were eating I saw you were sitting at the high top in the back but didn't manage to catch you before leaving. We'll have to catch up at another event. It was good to see old friends and meet new people as well.
I am sorry that I didn't know about this gathering but rather saw you guys driving by. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting a few of you and will definitely look at getting together in the future if you all gather again. It was great to see so many incredible cars here in Atlanta

Glad you guys came back with the vette! That's a gorgeous c4 you have! It was a pleasure meeting both you and your wife!
We had a few folks just 'drop in' when they saw all the corvettes lined up! Glad we attracted so much attention!

Oh, I didn't know you got rid of the Corvette, but I hadn't seen you in a long time though. How's it feel have a roof and be responsible?

mrs joecaver and I had a blast. It really was good to see some old friends and to meet some new folks too. I didn't expect that there would be nearly as many people show up as did. That may be an indication that we need to do this more often.

Now who wants to do a drive to the mountains?
Joe, it was nice to finally meet you.
A mountain run? We're in

Hey Darrell,
I thought you knew about it, or I would have given you the heads up.

We could caravan to the Barber show. Even if we don't show Barber is an awesome track with an interesting Motorsport Museum inside the track. The museum has mostly motorcycles but some very nice cars as well.
Jodi and I maybe going the following weekend to the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Our club (Classic Glass) had an overnight event this past weekend, which is why hubby and I couldn't be at Bahama Breeze. On the way to the Lodge, we did part of this route and also the Richard Russell scenic hwy (Route 348) - take a look at this road on google maps . They called it a "gentle cruise" - yeah, right!! Our tires were squealing around the curves!! It was awesome - a great run!!!

I rode some of that road back in my sportbike days. Lots of fun!

I can't do March 22nd (I'll be working at the fire department that day), but what about the 23rd? Sunday mornings up there are usually pretty nice and empty. Maybe meet up around 9 or 10 that morning and run through the mountains for a few hours and then cut back through Helen for lunch?
